Our Winning Edge Work Essential & LIFE SKILLS is an intensive program designed to fill in the skills gaps to help our apprentices become valuable employees with leadership skills to become supervisors.
This is an excellent volunteer opportunity for anyone with the following backgrounds: HR, Financial, Budgeting, Interview Skills, Resumes, Elevator Speech, Public Speaking, Communication, Computer Skills, Studying Skills, Organization, Fitness, Hygiene, First Aid and Counseling
EVENT PLANNING VOLUNTEERS
Do You Love To Plan Events?
We love to celebrate the success and accomplishments of our apprentices, volunteers, sponsors and teachers. Graduations, luncheons, open houses, meet and greets are a few of the fun events we need your help planning.
Are You Tech Savvy?
Our virtual volunteers are a huge part of creating our online pres-ence. We have opportunities from sharing our posts, sharing our events and bringing awareness of our programs on a variety of online platforms to include: Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.

Assisting the inmate population, reentering citizens and their loved ones before, during and after incarceration with important resources & services and providing real career opportunities to make a difference for themselves and their families through education, training, pre-apprenticeships, full registered apprenticeships and job / career placement.
