THE BUIDLING, CONSTRUCTION and MANUFACTURING Industries, educating and informing all of our students about the benefits of the path in a skilled labor trade and the HIGH DEMAND and PAY employers offer for these skilled trades.
Our programs are recognized and certified through the DOL (Department of Labor) and THE NAHB (National Association of Home Builders) nationally.
We are the first entity / training provider in the USA approved by the DOL to manage, operate, control and facilitate apprenticeships for employers. Up until March 2019, businesses / corporations were mandated by the DOL to manage, control, operate and facilitate their own apprenticeships.
Our partnership with Apprenticeship Carolina, a division of the SC College System ensures that our employer partners have access to the information and technical assistance needed to create demand-driven registered apprenticeship programs.
SUCCESS STORIES
last straw and she put all her eggs in our training program. She was nervous and questioned every step until she developed trust in our instructor team and program.
Sherrell brought a mother hen personality to our academic classes and naturally kept everyone in line.
Second Chance Jobs placed Sherrell with an employer partner who needed assistance in their electrical warehouse. She had it in tip top shape in less than 30 days.
Her employer partner further developed her skills to include: ordering, wiring, stocking 30 trucks with supplies needed for each days jobs and making sure every job
site had what they needed on a daily basis.
Her employer was so impressed with her that he hired her on full time. She received a $5 per hour raise, full benefits and an early Christmas Bonus! Go Sherrell!
Ms. Sherrell is currently studying to earn her Full Registered Apprenticeship as an Electrical Journeyman through our advanced certification program partner 327Careers.com
